About The Position

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of purchasing, procurement or inventory experience
At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations or related field
Strong negotiation, analytical and vendor management skills
Experience with data analysis and Microsoft Office tools
Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive strategic initiatives

Responsibilities

Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures
Lead sourcing efforts, including RFPs/RFQs and vendor selection
Negotiate contracts, pricing and terms to achieve cost savings and service improvements
Manage supplier relationships and evaluate performance, quality and reliability
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper delivery, inventory levels and asset utilization
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Oversee the accuracy of purchasing activity, inventory and supplier performance
Resolve vendor issues, defective goods and service concerns
Drive cost savings initiatives and improve vendor pricing agreements
Enhance procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce delays
