About The Position

The Purchasing Manager supervises the purchasing of products, including commodities, expenses, and consumable items. The role is involved in manufacturing and/or distribution negotiations; evaluates vendors for creditworthiness and cost; provides valuation and inventory-turn data to upper management; forecasts commodity markets and recommends purchasing strategies; develops purchasing agreements with timelines and expected usage; manages inventory levels; and works closely with sales to ensure products are available on time and accurately meet demand. Other duties may be assigned. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities
