About The Position

We are seeking a Japanese-English bilingual Purchasing Coordinator to join a stable and growing international company. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with purchasing, inventory, and operational data while collaborating with vendors and internal departments. If you have experience in purchasing, logistics, supply chain, inventory management, or import/export operations, we’d love to hear from you. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career while expanding your professional skills in a supportive team environment. This position also includes occasional backup support for basic internal IT-related tasks when needed (approximately 5–10% of the workload). Previous IT experience is not required. Training will be provided for candidates who are interested in learning new skills and expanding their professional experience.

Requirements

  • Native or business-level Japanese communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience using XLOOKUP
  • Experience using SUMIFS
  • Experience using Pivot Tables
  • Experience in one or more of the following: Purchasing, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Import / Export
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Responsibilities

  • Process purchase orders and maintain purchasing records
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments
  • Coordinate purchasing activities and inventory requirements
  • Monitor inventory levels and support inventory management
  • Assist with import/export and supply chain operations
  • Maintain accurate operational data and documentation
  • Prepare reports and analyze data using Microsoft Excel
  • Support day-to-day purchasing and administrative operations
  • Occasional backup support for basic internal IT-related tasks
