Requirements

A High School diploma or GED (required).
2–5 years of experience in a business environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
A solid understanding of production and inventory flow.

Responsibilities

Executing the MRP process to maintain supply continuity.
Preparing and administering purchase orders.
Processing requisitions and placing timely purchase orders for MRO materials.
Communicating purchase order revisions to requisitioners and approvers.
Following up on confirmations and expediting requests to meet internal customer needs.
Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Ensuring accuracy in requisitions, purchase orders, and related documentation.
Identifying and pursuing cost-saving opportunities in materials, freight, and services.
Supporting the Procurement Manager and Supply Chain Buyer/Planners as needed.
Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2000 standards and implementing changes where appropriate.
Performing other duties as assigned.
