About The Position

Sterling Fleet Outfitters is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to support their Purchasing team. Requirements

  • Interest or education in business or supply chain
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with vendors and internal teams
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency with Excel and computer systems
  • ERP experience is an asset
  • Experience in a purchasing, coordination, or administrative role is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Create and issue purchase orders accurately and on time
  • Track open purchase orders and follow up with suppliers
  • Maintain and update purchasing and inventory data in the system
  • Communicate with vendors on order confirmations and updates
  • Support the team with quotes, data collection, and reporting
