About The Position

As a Purchasing Analyst, you will play an integral role in procurement activities, focusing on sourcing products and services, negotiation, problem-solving, relationship management, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

1-4 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards.
College or University Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management.

Nice To Haves

Experience with SAP, specifically in purchasing functions.
Automotive industry experience.
Process improvement support skills.
Familiarity with PowerBi, purchasing, procurement, supply chain, planning, data analysis, inventory management, and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

Process requisitions, request for quotations, purchase orders, price reconciliation, and competitive bids.
Negotiate annual contract renewals for products and services.
Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers to identify and resolve internal and external problem situations.
Provide support to suppliers on purchase order discrepancies.
Lead continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
Conduct periodic travel to local vendors as expected.
Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services for use or further processing.
Assess establishment requirements and develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies.
Invite tenders, consult with suppliers, and review quotations.
Determine or negotiate contract terms and conditions, award supplier contracts, or recommend contract awards.
Establish logistics of delivery schedules, monitor progress, and contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems.
