Pod 700 - Pump Assembly
About The Position
This role involves the assembly of pumps. Key tasks include inspecting pumps for damage, removing bushings, using a press, sanding burrs, ensuring gear clearance is within specification by sanding and measuring with feeler gauges, assembling the pump, and torquing bolts to specification using torque tools. The position requires an individual who is a decision-maker, has an eye for detail, can utilize various tools, machinery, and gauging equipment, and possesses good hand dexterity. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with overtime available. Requirements
- Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (approx. 8-10 hours)
- Ability to use handheld tools such as straight edge, feeler gauge, impact, inline torque gun, hydraulic press or arbor press, and slide hammer
Responsibilities
