About The Position

Valley Health Systems, Inc., the parent company of Holyoke Medical Center and Holyoke Medical Group, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pulmonary/Sleep Medicine Physician to join its medical staff. The physician will provide comprehensive pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine services, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with a broad range of respiratory and sleep-related disorders.

The physician will work collaboratively with primary care physicians, specialists, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals. The role provides patient-centered care in inpatient and outpatient settings and supports the expansion of community access to specialized pulmonary and sleep medicine services.

Requirements

• Current license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as an MD or DO.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Pulmonary Disease and/or Critical Care Medicine.
• Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine.
• Fellowship training in Pulmonary Disease and/or Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, with additional fellowship training or board certification/eligibility in Sleep Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine services.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with respiratory and sleep-related disorders.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Help expand access to specialized pulmonary and sleep medicine services within the community.
