About The Position

CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic is hiring a Pediatric Pulmonologist to launch a new Pediatric Pulmonology service line in Tyler, Texas. The physician will help shape the specialty within a mission-driven, faith-based, physician-led organization, working with pediatricians and subspecialty providers. Clinical resources include a state-of-the-art bronchoscopy suite, an on-site pulmonary function testing lab, Epic in inpatient and outpatient settings, and AI-integrated services intended to streamline documentation and enhance patient care. The role has support from Pediatric Hospitalists and other subspecialists. CHRISTUS Health plans to open a new 10-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in December 2025. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic is a multispecialty medical group with more than 1,500 physicians and advanced practice providers across 41 specialties and 82 clinic locations in Northeast Texas. The organization describes itself as physician-led, faith-based, and not-for-profit, and emphasizes collegiality, innovation, leadership development, and a dyad leadership model in which physician and administrative leaders work together. Tyler is about 90 miles east of Dallas in East Texas. The community offers outdoor recreation, a university-town setting, a population of more than 100,000, and public and private school options.

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology.
Unrestricted Texas medical license.

Responsibilities

Help launch and shape the new Pediatric Pulmonology service line in Tyler, Texas.
Provide pediatric pulmonology care in collaboration with pediatricians, Pediatric Hospitalists, and other subspecialists.
