About The Position
Dane Street is seeking a skilled, board-certified Pulmonologist in Sunnyside, Utah, to join its physician panel for Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs). The position involves reviewing medical records, conducting in-person patient evaluations, responding to clinical queries related to claims management, and delivering detailed IME reports within an expected five-day turnaround. The work is advisory only: no doctor-patient relationship is established and no treatment is provided. This is an independent contractor role compensated per case. Physicians may accept or decline assignments based on their availability, with flexible scheduling and predictable work hours. Dane Street provides fully prepared cases, streamlined case flow, transcription services at no cost, and a user-friendly work portal. The opportunity may provide supplemental income and help physicians develop expertise in medical necessity and utilization review and expand their IME credentials.
Requirements
- Board certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience performing IMEs is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities are a plus.
