The position will also include approximately eight weeks per year as a critical care attending, as well as attending time on the inpatient pulmonary consult service. Candidates should be proficient in standard critical care procedures and pulmonary procedures, including thoracentesis, chest tube placement, and bronchoscopy with endobronchial and transbronchial biopsies, as well as pulmonary function test interpretation. As an academic faculty position, the successful candidate should have a strong interest in clinical education and teaching, particularly in pulmonary medicine. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of Denver Health’s pulmonary services while caring for a diverse patient population across both ambulatory and inpatient settings.
