This PFT position is Full time, with a rotating schedule of 32 hours one week and 40 hours the next. It is a Dayshift position with no weekends or holidays required. The Pulmonary Function Technologist is responsible for performing various pulmonary diagnostic testing modalities offered by the PFT lab with minimal guidance. This role provides age-appropriate services to infant, adolescent, and adult patients. The technologist will also perform calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting on equipment within the lab's scope and professionally interact with vendors, patients, family members, regulatory agencies, and other medical professionals.
