About The Position

Demolding of various molded parts. This role requires applying high energy, self-motivation, and initiative to learn and be trained on various types of equipment and processes. The position involves the safe and effective use of high-speed pneumatic power tools, hand tools, and bulky equipment. Additionally, the employee will operate powered industrial equipment, hoists, and cranes to move molds and remove parts. Responsibilities include completing required documentation for finished parts and performing varied daily job duties according to daily schedules and assignments, ensuring quality and timeliness. The job requires the ability to perform functions safely and effectively in a fast-paced, noisy environment while wearing all required PPE. Good housekeeping practices are also essential.

Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to safely and effectively use high-speed pneumatic power tools (drills, drivers etc.), hand tools, and bulky.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment, hoists and cranes to move molds and remove parts from molds.
• Must be able to read drawings and specifications.
• Ability to perform job functions safely and effectively in a fast-paced, noisy environment while wearing all required PPE (including; eye, hearing, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Basic math functions.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving variables in process and/or environment.
• Lifting parts and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently walk, stand for extended periods, and move between work areas, including traveling up and down stairs.
• Sitting, squatting, bending, and working in awkward positions for varying lengths of time, including overhead work.
