Requirements

  • 4+ years' experience in billing or customer accounts required.
  • Previous experience in transportation industry preferred.
  • Must possess exceptional critical thinking skills and provide innovative and workable resolutions to complex issues and circumstances.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must have proven leadership skills.
  • Associates' degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Incumbent is primary point of contact and operational leader for all publishing activities, ensuring consistency, quality, compliance, and efficiency across the team.
  • Oversee assigned employees, ensuring appropriately staffed, operating within budget constraints.
  • Ensure assigned employees have career development plans that provide the organization with strong bench strength for future leaders and specialized individual contributors.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for publishing-related questions, concerns, and operational challenges.
  • Manage workload distribution and workflow prioritization to ensure resources are allocated effectively and deadlines are consistently met.
  • Act as the team's subject matter expert and trusted resource for publishing processes, systems, and best practices.
  • Lead the onboarding, training, and development of new Publishing Coordinators to ensure consistent execution of team responsibilities.
  • Manage and administer the Publishing inbox, ensuring timely responses, proper routing, and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve publication issues while driving continuous process improvements.
  • Serve as the organization's primary contact for publishing-related inquiries, guidance, and support.
  • Act as the designated lead for all internal and external audits related to the company's publishing operations, ensuring compliance, audit readiness, documentation integrity, and successful audit execution.
  • Monitor publishing operations, controls, and quality standards to maintain accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Maintain authority over team operational assignments and specialized team responsibilities as they occur.
  • Evaluate and adjust team assignments as business needs evolve to ensure balanced workloads, cross-training opportunities, and continuity of operations.
  • Establish and maintain backup coverage plans to ensure critical publishing functions remain supported during absences, vacations, and periods of increased workload.
  • Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objective.
