About The Position

Vira Games is an independent game company specializing in the development and publishing of mobile games. Our team is a creative alliance that combines experience, creativity, drive, and professionalism. We are launching a publishing division: publishing games from third-party studios on GP/iOS with validation and scaling through our platform. This division is being built from scratch, and we are looking for someone to build it. The mission of the role is to be a builder, not a manager of a ready-made structure. You will be the DRI for the publishing division: strategy, deal flow, deal economics, and team. In the first few months, you will be a player-coach: sourcing and negotiating with studios personally, leveraging your own network. Subsequently, you will hire and develop the team (the first hire will be a Publishing Producer, with your participation in the selection). Reporting to: Co-CEO (at the launch stage). Goals for the first 12 months: A signed portfolio of studios with an active pipeline of negotiations. 2-3 titles that have passed validation and are actively scaling. A working greenlight process with clear criteria. A core team formed.

Requirements

  • Experience building a publishing function from scratch or at an early stage - not managing a ready-made one.
  • Own network of studios and market reputation: you have someone to contact in the first week.
  • Personal experience in deal management: term sheets, rev share structures, negotiations with studio founders.
  • Fluent in publishing economics: eROAS, payback, cohort models - at the level of independent calculations.
  • Experience in casual/mid-core on GP/iOS.
  • English - B2.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with publishing platforms or SDK products.
  • Experience in hiring and developing a team.
  • Understanding of alternative stores and subscription monetization.

Responsibilities

  • Deal flow: sourcing studios, funnel management, negotiations, signing. First deals personally.
  • Economics: rev share structure, deal unit economics, payback forecasts in collaboration with analytics.
  • Greenlight: title selection criteria, validation process through the platform, stage decisions (test → soft launch → scaling).
  • Portfolio: management of published titles together with the Producer — roadmaps, LiveOps, working with studios.
  • Team: hiring a Publishing Producer, and further team growth along with portfolio growth.

Benefits

  • Building a division from scratch with a direct mandate from the founders.
  • Own technological platform as a competitive advantage in pitching to studios — speed of validation, transparent analytics, UA infrastructure.
  • Compensation: market-based base + bonus tied to the division's results.
  • Remote-first culture, minimal bureaucracy, quick decisions.
