About The Position
This position is responsible for the safe operation of light to heavy equipment for solid waste collection, and for the operation and maintenance of water, sanitary, and stormwater systems, as well as the maintenance of City streets.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
- CDL Endorsement B with Air Brake endorsement
- CDL A endorsement within 6 months of hire
- Previous experience in road maintenance, underground utility construction or landscape construction
Responsibilities
- Safely operate light to heavy equipment for solid waste collection.
- Operate and maintain water, sanitary, and stormwater systems.
- Perform maintenance of City streets.
