About The Position
Inframark is seeking a Public Works Technician to help maintain parks, rights-of-way, roadways, and other municipal properties. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining beautiful landscapes and public spaces.
Requirements
- Six months or more of landscaping, grounds maintenance, or outdoor labor experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and hand tools.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Mow, trim, edge, and maintain public grounds and rights-of-way.
- Operate equipment such as mowers, weed eaters, chainsaws, chippers, and tractors.
- Plant, water, and maintain trees, shrubs, and flowers.
- Assist with landscaping, storm cleanup, and debris removal.
- Support roadway, sidewalk, drainage, and traffic sign maintenance projects.
- Help prepare community events and maintain safe, clean public spaces.
- Follow all safety procedures while working with equipment and tools.
