Requirements

Six months or more of landscaping, grounds maintenance, or outdoor labor experience preferred.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and hand tools.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Mow, trim, edge, and maintain public grounds and rights-of-way.
Operate equipment such as mowers, weed eaters, chainsaws, chippers, and tractors.
Plant, water, and maintain trees, shrubs, and flowers.
Assist with landscaping, storm cleanup, and debris removal.
Support roadway, sidewalk, drainage, and traffic sign maintenance projects.
Help prepare community events and maintain safe, clean public spaces.
Follow all safety procedures while working with equipment and tools.
