This casual position is responsible for the delivery of a safe and customer focused learn to skate program.

Requirements

Current Intermediate First Aid with CPR- C and AED.
A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in hockey, figure skating, power skating etc. or a demonstrated ability to skate at an advanced level.
Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service skills.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Satisfactory passing of a vulnerable sector check.
Proof of qualifications.

Responsibilities

Supervise program participants and ensure their safety.
Assist in providing a clean, healthy, safe environment for the program and ensure equipment is stored as required.
Maintain composure in escalated situations as they arise; immediately report incidents to the Programmer, Specialty Programs or designate.
Perform administrative tasks (i.e., attendance, preparation, Injury and Incident Reports etc.).
Perform additional duties and undertake special projects as assigned.
