About The Position

The Public Sector Deal Specialist works closely with their teams to ensure maximize rated scoring potential, and confirm that proposed solutions meet all certification, security, and contractual requirements. They translate technical, operational, and commercial inputs into structured, compliant proposal responses aligned with Canadian Public Sector procurement frameworks, including TBIPS, SBIPS, CSPV, Vendor of Record (VoR), and other federal and provincial procurement vehicles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years supporting Canadian Public Sector bids and proposals.
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting and responding to Government RFPs.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian Public Sector procurement frameworks and evaluation methodologies.
  • Experience supporting procurements under TBIPS, SBIPS, CSPV, Vendor of Record (VoR), or similar procurement vehicles.
  • Experience developing customer references, project write-ups, and resource qualification matrices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional written communication, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze Federal and Provincial Government RFPs to identify mandatory and rated requirements.
  • Interpret highly prescriptive evaluation criteria and translate them into actionable response requirements.
  • Partner with the GTM team to maximize proposal compliance and rated scoring opportunities.
  • Translate technical, operational, and commercial solution inputs into compliant, customer-focused proposal content.
  • Work directly with Customer Partners and Delivery teams to extract project-specific evidence that aligns precisely with RFP scope.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), and delivery documentation to validate customer references and experience claims.
  • Ensure proposal responses are tailored to each opportunity, recognizing that generic or previously published content is rarely compliant with Public Sector procurement requirements.
  • Validate that proposed solutions satisfy certification, security clearance, data residency, and contractual requirements before submission.
  • Develop compliant customer reference submissions demonstrating relevant project experience.
  • Assemble complex resource and experience grids that validate: Similar project scope and complexity, Required categories of expertise, Minimum days of effort, Resource qualifications
  • Coordinate with Customer Partners, Delivery Partners, and Project Managers to obtain accurate supporting evidence where no centralized repository exists.
  • Verify all submission data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with solicitation requirements.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Canadian Public Sector procurement requirements.
