About The Position
The Public Safety Officer will maintain the safety and security of their building by responding to emergency and non-emergency situations. The position involves maintaining confidentiality, conducting investigations, and ensuring proper communication with staff. Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma plus some college coursework
- MCOLES certification preferred, or ability to obtain certification.
- Previous law enforcement or security experience preferred.
- Strong communication, investigation, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to make quick decisions and maintain confidentiality.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred.
Responsibilities
