The Dispatch Supervisor is an advanced level emergency Telecommunications professional with the ability and desire to lead others positively. The Dispatch Supervisor is charged with oversight of daily operations within the Benton County Office of Emergency Communications and is responsible for supervising all employees on his/her assigned shift. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, daily direction and supervision of subordinate staff, including assigning and delegating work projects, ensuring proper staffing levels are maintained, and performance management, including evaluating work performance, coaching, mentoring, and/or implementing corrective action for performance and conduct issues. They will openly communicate with other Dispatch Supervisors, Deputy Directors, and the Director. They will work under the direct supervision of the Deputy Director of Operations.
