About The Position
This position involves supporting the C+FS PR and Development team on Public Relations projects.
Requirements
- In an undergraduate or graduate program with a focus in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing.
- Enrollment in a credit bearing program.
Responsibilities
- Writing press releases, media advisories, articles for C+FS website, and articles for C+FS Intranet.
- Graphic design for flyers, banners, brochures, and social media.
- Internal and external messaging, and pitching story ideas for the media.
- Assisting the Development Team with donor prospecting.
- Utilizing Fundraising Software, Raiser's Edge to help manage donor portfolios.
- Accepting donations in support of the Development team receiving in-kind gifts to help facilitate building donor relationships.
- Assisting the Development team with event organization, meeting preparation, and donation drives as needed.
