As the Public Relations & Communications Coordinator, you will develop brand-consistent and engaging content, including project profiles, website copy, social media and blog posts, press releases, and newsletters that communicate Gresham Smith’s capabilities and value to clients. You will identify relevant industry and national publications, track editorial calendars, and maintain public relations distribution lists. You will also build and maintain relationships with key reporters and develop targeted media pitches that showcase Gresham Smith’s thought leadership and expertise. Additionally, you will research conference, panel, speaking, and interview opportunities for the firm’s subject matter experts, support industry and employee award submission processes, and develop and manage social media content and editorial calendars. You will maintain and update website pages using WordPress or a similar content management system, support or lead the execution and measurement of communication strategies, projects, and initiatives based on experience, and monitor and report on social media and external communication metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement. You will also plan, support, and manage in-person events, including town hall meetings, the firm’s annual internal Celebration, project milestone events, and client-facing events, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and marketing partners to ensure communications are accurate, timely, and aligned with firm standards.
