About The Position

McGill University is seeking an instructor for ASPL 633 - Public International Air Law for the Fall 2026 term. This course will cover the sources of public international law relating to air space and its aeronautical uses, international aviation organizations and their law-making functions, and legal responses to aviation terrorism. The University may, at its discretion, assign the person of choice to give this Course/Teaching. Requirements

  • A first degree in law
  • Several years of significant practice or professional experience in the relevant area
  • Experience in teaching undergraduate law students in a bilingual setting

  • Teach ASPL 633 - Public International Air Law
  • Cover sources of public international law relating to air space and its aeronautical uses
  • Cover international aviation organizations and their law-making functions
  • Cover legal responses to aviation terrorism
