About The Position

Housing & Residence Life believes that life in the residence halls provides students an important opportunity to complement their classroom learning experience. The primary function of the PA is to enhance the out-of-classroom learning for students in the Three-Year Scholars Program. Additionally, the PA is responsible for facilitating interpersonal relationships and creating living communities that maximize the opportunities for students to learn and grow. The PA reports to a Community Director (CD) and faculty director of their Three-Year Scholars Program. The PA is also expected to work closely with other staff members within the residence hall, other faculty, as well as campus partners. Emphasis is placed on the concept that the PA is an active and integral staff member within the total campus community.
