About The Position

The Springfield-Greene County Health Department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Public Health Program Representative to support the employees that work for the City of Springfield! This role will focus on the InBalance employee wellness program for the City of Springfield, aiming to develop and implement approaches that will support employee mental health and overall well-being. Key activities include improving education and training available to employees, strengthening awareness and use of existing resources, and establishing additional resources. We are seeking an applicant that is passionate about overall employee health and well being.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences, Public Administration, Social Services, Health Services, Behavioral Sciences or a related area.
Two years of professional or technical experience in public health.
Proof of United States Citizenship/Authorization to Work in the United States as established by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986 is a condition of employment.
Must complete the City of Springfield on-line application in its entirety.
Candidate profile must include all employment history with accurate and complete information prior to submission.

Nice To Haves

A Master's Degree in a discipline indicated above may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
Some assignments may require previous supervisory experience.
Some assignments may require significant data management and analysis work experience.
Experience needs to be commensurate with the current vacancy.
