About The Position

The Public Health Analyst plays a critical role in advancing a Health in All Policies approach to improve health equity across the state. This position leads policy development and implementation efforts that integrate Community Health Workers (CHWs) and expand Community Information Exchange (CIE) infrastructure to address social drivers of health. The analyst will manage cross-sector partnerships, provide technical assistance, and oversee grants and initiatives that embed health considerations into decision-making across government and community systems. Through this work, the analyst helps drive sustainable, community-informed strategies that promote healthier, more equitable outcomes for all residents.

Requirements

  • Possession of a bachelor’s degree in any major.
  • Departmental Analyst 9: No specific type or amount is required.
  • Departmental Analyst 10: One year of professional experience.
  • Departmental Analyst P11: Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.
  • Must apply online via NEOGOV.
