About The Position

Goldbelt Professional Services is seeking a Public Health Analyst I to provide program management and analysis support for the International Infection Control Program, Office of the Chief (IICB). This role involves supporting public health missions with scientific, technical, and administrative expertise, focusing on research and data-driven solutions.

  • Expertise in project management tools and software, including but not limited to: Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, and OneNote.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication in interpersonal exchanges.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in program analysis, public health, healthcare, research, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with the government procedures and guidelines.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree plus 3–5 years of relevant work experience in a relevant public health or related field.
  • Prior experience working with the CDC is highly desired to understand the culture and environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the IICP Program Management Official with budget/financial support, including the Spend Plan Management Tool (SPMT).
  • Report on funding mechanisms, expenditures, unobligated balances, and project progress using the Unliquidated Obligations (ULO) Tracking and Management System (UTAMS).
  • Develop, process, and track records and reports using CDC financial management systems (IRIS B&PI, IRIS Budget, IRIS Staffing, IRIS BAAP, CBRA/OASys).
  • Provide technical information for reports, contracts, procurements, and agreements; update spreadsheets for travel lists and ICE purchase orders.
  • Provide budget reports to inform funding allocation decisions and expenditure changes.
  • Participate during CDC response activities and training exercises under direction of the DHQP Team Lead; duties include staffing the EOC desk to help support CDC's mission.
