About The Position

Eviction Defense Collaborative (EDC) is seeking a highly organized, detail‑oriented, and mission‑driven Public Grants Manager to oversee the organization’s portfolio of government grants. EDC currently manages six grants and seven funding streams from the City and County of San Francisco (CCSF) and four grants from the State of California. These public contracts represent the majority of EDC’s revenue and are essential to sustaining legal services, rental assistance, and homelessness‑prevention programs. The Public Grants Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle of all public grants — including application development, contract execution, reporting, monitoring, compliance, and renewal. This role works closely with the Finance Team, program leadership, and external government partners to ensure accuracy, accountability, and alignment with EDC’s mission: preventing homelessness before it starts and keeping San Franciscans housed.
