About The Position

The City of Pearland, Texas, is seeking to hire a full-time strategic, detail-driven Grants Manager to lead the development, management and compliance of federal, state, and local grants across public safety, transportation, infrastructure, community development, and recovery/mitigation programs. You will drive grant budgeting, reporting, compliance, and cross-departmental coordination using FEMA, HUD, GLO, and TDEM systems to deliver measurable outcomes for the Pearland Community. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of municipal or governmental grant experience
  • Strong experience with federal and state grant systems
  • Skills in program management, grant reporting, accounting, and compliance
  • Ability to collaborate, influence, and communicate across teams

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of Community Development Block Grant (CBDG), FEMA, HUD, General Land Office (GLO), Texas Department of Emergency Management (TDEM), and other major grant programs.
  • Track expenditures, budgets, and compliance with all regulations
  • Oversee subrecipient performance, documentation, and reporting
  • Partner with departments city-wide to turn funding into results for the community.
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready grant records
