About The Position

The Public Area Cleaner helps create enjoyable, comfortable guest experiences by keeping hotel public areas clean and welcoming. The role involves frequent movement throughout the property and requires flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The position also involves physical activity such as standing, walking, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, bending and twisting, and climbing stairs.

Requirements

• At least one month of related experience.
• Passion for customer service.
• Ability to work seamlessly with others and collaborate within a diverse team.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Ability to accommodate varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand or sit, carry and lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend and twist, and climb stairs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors.
• Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
• Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.
• Greet guests encountered during the shift with a friendly smile.
