About The Position
Laundry Attendants help keep hotel linens clean, crisp, and presentable for guests. The role involves washing and drying hotel linens and guest laundry, helping ensure guests have a clean and healthy space during their stay. It is an active position that requires moving around and accommodating varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Previous hotel laundry or housekeeping experience is a plus but is not required.
Requirements
- Clearly communicate with guests and team members.
- Learn quickly, stay calm under pressure, and work effectively with limited supervision.
- Accommodate varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Be able to stand or sit for more than half of the time; carry or lift up to 50 pounds; walk, bend, twist, and climb stairs.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hotel laundry or housekeeping experience.
Responsibilities
- Wash, dry, fold, sort, and store clean linens, towels, napkins, and tablecloths.
- Operate equipment to sort, weigh, wash, dry, iron, fold, or package hotel laundry items.
- Maintain linen supplies at the specified level.
- Clean machines and surrounding areas.
