About The Position

Summit Club, located outside Las Vegas, Nevada, is seeking a Public Area Attendant for its Clubhouse Residential Services Department. The role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of clubhouse facilities, including restrooms, public areas, and common areas, while helping create the Discovery Land Company experience for members and employees. The attendant cleans and maintains a range of surfaces and spaces using specialty cleaning equipment and chemicals, and may perform bio-hazard cleanup. The position involves moving equipment and furniture, using carts and hand trucks, and meeting the physical demands of extended standing and movement, lifting, and carrying. Flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required; long hours may be necessary due to business demands.

Ability to lift and carry items sometimes greater than 50 pounds; the position may involve moving objects weighing up to 75 pounds occasionally and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

Clean assigned restrooms, foyer spaces, and furniture.
Use specialty equipment in accordance with safety and procedural guidelines.
Polish, restore, seal, finish, and maintain flooring, including marble and granite.
Extract and spot-clean carpets.
Dust high and low areas, including ceiling vents and wall decorations.
Operate carpet extractors, ride-on and walk-behind scrubbers, burnishers, floor machines, lifts, wet/dry vacuums, and spotting machines.
Use hand trucks and flatbed carts to move equipment to assigned work areas.
Use proper techniques and equipment to move heavy furniture and clean underneath it.
Properly use and dispose of chemicals when cleaning areas.
Conduct bio-hazard cleanup.
Perform other duties as assigned.
