About The Position

The Public Area Attendant ensures public areas, including food and beverage outlets, banquet space, and restrooms, are clean, neat and well-supplied.

Prior housekeeping or professional cleaning experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions.
Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of HotSOS preferred/is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 lbs.
US work authorization is required.

Keeps all public areas including food and beverage outlets and banquet spaces neat, vacuumed, moped and dusted.
Ensure mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevators and doors are clean and mark-free.
Submit all maintenance issues in Public Areas and Back of house areas to the Engineering department through designated work systems and brings them to the attention of the Housekeeping management.
Periodically check Lobby Restrooms and Staff Changing rooms. Ensure all surfaces are clean. Restock supplies including toilet paper, soap, hand towels and removes all trash from areas.
Remove all trash from back of house offices.
Vacuum carpets and dusts surfaces in offices.
Respond to guest requests and inquiries while in the lobby. Answer guest questions and direct them appropriately.
