About The Position

This position supervises, trains, develops, and holds ramp employees accountable for safety, production, and attendance. The supervisor sets and maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. The role provides effective leadership and fosters working relationships with personnel throughout the organization.

The position is scheduled Tuesday through Friday from 4:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and Saturday from 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. It is listed as permanent.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 70 lbs. (32 kgs.).
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to five days per week.
• Meet local age and operational requirements to operate a vehicle.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employees follow safety policies and procedures and comply with department, station, corporate, and local government requirements.
• Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establish and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, proactive communication, interdepartmental cooperation, and continual improvement.
• Implement employee personal development plans as needed to support professional growth.
• Ensure employees receive orientation, skills and safety training, appropriate materials and information, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching.
