PT Package Center Supervisor
About The Position
The PT Package Center Supervisor supervises, trains, develops, and holds workgroups accountable for safety, production, and attendance. The role sets and maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. It provides effective leadership and fosters working relationships with personnel throughout the organization. The supervisor develops relationships with employees, management, and customers; facilitates training; ensures compliance with safety policies and applicable requirements; and manages department resources for output, accuracy, and efficiency. The role promotes a positive, team-oriented environment focused on employee involvement, communication, cooperation, and continual improvement. It also supports employee growth through development plans, orientation, skills and safety training, evaluations, and coaching.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 70 lbs. /32 kgs.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, develop, and hold workgroups responsible for safety, production, and attendance.
- Maintain high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
- Facilitate training for new and current employees.
- Ensure employees follow safety policies and procedures and comply with department, station, corporate, and local government requirements.
- Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, proactive communication, interdepartmental cooperation, and continual improvement.
- Implement employee personal development plans as required.
- Ensure employees receive orientation, skills and safety training, appropriate materials and information, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching.
