About The Position

The PT Hub Supervisor supervises Package Handlers and trains, develops, and holds workgroups accountable for safety, production, and attendance. The role maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. It provides leadership and cultivates effective working relationships with personnel throughout the organization.

The supervisor ensures compliance with applicable safety policies and requirements, manages department resources for output, accuracy, and efficiency, and promotes a positive, team-oriented environment focused on employee involvement, communication, cooperation, and continual improvement. The position also supports employees’ professional growth through development plans, orientation, skills and safety training, regular evaluations, and coaching.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 70 lbs. / 32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

• Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employees comply with safety policies and procedures and applicable department, station, corporate, and OSHA requirements.
• Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.

• Implement employee personal development plans as required.
• Ensure employees receive orientation, skills and safety training, appropriate materials and information, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching.
• Hold workgroups accountable for safety, production, and attendance.
