About The Position
The PT Hub Supervisor supervises Package Handlers and trains, develops, and holds workgroups accountable for safety, production, and attendance. The role establishes and maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. It provides effective leadership and builds working relationships with personnel throughout the organization. The supervisor ensures employees follow applicable safety policies and procedures and that operations comply with department, station, corporate, and OSHA requirements. The role manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency; promotes a positive, team-oriented environment; and supports continual improvement and employee involvement. It also oversees orientation, skills and safety training, evaluations, coaching, and personal development plans for department employees.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 70 lbs. / 32 kgs.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
