About The Position

Saskatoon Co-op is a member-owned business serving over 127,000 members in Saskatoon and surrounding communities. We offer a variety of products and services including grocery, liquor, pharmacy, petroleum, home and building solutions, and agricultural supplies. As a PT Food Clerk, you will report to the Food Store Manager and be responsible for providing excellent customer service, stocking merchandise, performing housekeeping and receiving duties, and adhering to all company policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment safely, performing opening and closing procedures, and assisting with loss prevention and cash register operations.

Requirements

• Sufficient knowledge of grocery merchandise handled to effectively operate the section(s) assigned.
• Familiarity with all lines of merchandise handled by the department.
• Strongly service-oriented and motivated.
• Capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Physical ability to handle the work to be assigned.
• Must be able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
