About The Position

Saskatoon Co-op is seeking a part-time Gas Bar Clerk for its Stonebridge Gas #150 location in Saskatoon, SK. This role reports to the Gas Bar Manager and involves providing excellent customer service, assisting customers on the pump island, maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the location, operating the till system, performing daily reconciliations and reports, managing merchandise (ordering, receiving, pricing, displaying), and adhering to Saskatoon Co-op policies. The position may also involve supervising and training staff under the direction of the Station Manager, and performing opening and closing procedures. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Strongly service oriented and capable of assisting and selling to customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Well organized, and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum of supervision.
• Knowledge and experience in the merchandise handled by the department in order to operate efficiently and effectively in the department.
• Ability to work evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Be familiar with and adhere to all Saskatoon Co-op Policies and Procedures.
• Under the direction of the Station Manager, supervise and train staff in the general operation of the location.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
