PT Feeder Supervisor
About The Position
This position assists and reviews UPS Small Package dispatch activity to ensure timely and proficient service. The employee assists with dispatch planning and is responsible for ensuring that service, safety, and cost goals are met. The position coordinates with others to ensure dispatch plans are executed efficiently, with adequate staffing and equipment for transportation needs. It oversees load and tractor planning and assignments, monitors load movements, and tracks equipment condition. The employee reviews, analyzes, and tracks dispatch and service reports and schedules; creates efficient dispatch plans; verifies service levels; addresses performance issues; and incorporates new customers, locations, and loads into dispatch plans. The position also oversees yard operations by coordinating drivers with load volume, ensuring trailers are correctly located and loaded or empty as planned, and confirming accurate trailer inventory.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 70 lbs. / 32 kgs.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Responsibilities

- Review driver hours for regulatory compliance.
- Conduct hazardous materials audits and review safety reports.
- Verify appropriate driver uniforms and the use of safe work methods.
- Determine employee training needs and develop continuous development plans.
- Provide feedback and support.
- Conduct performance evaluations and resolve individual and group performance issues.
