Hybrid Psychotherapist (LMSW, MHC-LP, CAT-LP)
About The Position
Psychological Counseling with Compassion is seeking licensed or license-eligible clinicians (MSW, MHC, CAT, MFT) who possess a blend of strong interpersonal skills and clinical accuracy, coupled with a motivation to facilitate client progress. This practice aims to be a supportive environment for therapists to engage in meaningful clinical work, develop essential skills for independent practice, and build their unique clinical voice. Located in Rockville Centre, NY, the practice offers both in-person and virtual therapy options, allowing for a hybrid work setting that accommodates client needs. The practice emphasizes comprehensive support for professional development, including clinical supervision, training in documentation and insurance navigation, and a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- LMSW, MHC-LP, CAT-LP, or LP eligible.
- Must work select weekends and see clients both in person and telehealth.
- Must work evenings and weekends.
- Cannot be working in multiple group practices.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in acute, subacute, and/or facility environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy to clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and couples.
- Develop individualized treatment approaches.
- Engage in clinical documentation and insurance navigation.
