About The Position

The Psychotherapist will develop, implement, and evaluate patient care according to identified needs. This role involves managing clients in crisis using appropriate therapeutic skills and assessment techniques, writing treatment plans based on patient diagnosis, age, and clinical presentation, and creating discharge plans based on individual client needs, followed by the termination process. The Psychotherapist will collaborate with guardians and community agencies for effective service delivery, complete patient care assignments with attention to detail and accuracy, and provide accurate and timely documentation of patient care in the medical record. Additionally, the role includes completing accurate and timely billing information, designing and implementing effective patient education, and maintaining open communication and collaboration with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant human services field such as Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited school of graduate education required.
• Full licensure in applicable state required.
• 2 years clinical experience required.
• CPI and CPR training required for psychotherapist working in inpatient psychiatric setting.

• Maintains open lines of communication, collaborates with healthcare team for patient outcome.
