About The Position
To provide patients with professional therapeutic programming which is goal-oriented and directed toward skills-building on the following domains of functioning: mental, physical psychological, emotional, social and spiritual. The staff member must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide therapeutic programming appropriate to the age of the individuals.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience working with behavioral health populations
- Must possess initiative & be able to work with minimum supervision
- Experience conducting, organizing, and planning meetings and special events
- PSR-Specific Discipline credential eligibility required, but certification/licensure needed within six months of hire.
- Pesticide licenses in two categories by 1 year of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with horticulture interventions desirable.
- Inpatient psychiatric hospital experience desirable.
- Previous group facilitation experience preferred.
