About The Position

The LEEAP Center is a leading bilingual pediatric therapy organization in North Carolina providing interdisciplinary care across speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, ABA, behavioral health, psychological services, and family support. Our core values are Integrity, Growth, Empowerment, Compassion, Community, and Service. The LEEAP Center is seeking a fluent bilingual English/Spanish Psychometrist to join our Psychology Department. Under the supervision of licensed psychologists, the Psychometrist administers and scores standardized assessments, documents behavioral observations, and supports the evaluation process for children with developmental, behavioral, emotional, learning, and neuropsychological concerns. This role requires accuracy, compassion, professionalism, and the ability to create a calm, child-centered testing environment. The LEEAP Center offers a structured Level 1–3 Psychometrist Growth Pathway: Level 1: Foundational test administration and scoring, Level 2: Proficiency across multiple assessments with minimal supervision, Level 3: Advanced administration, scoring, documentation, and clinical observation. Advancement is based on competency, reliability, documentation quality, and clinical performance.

Requirements

  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of child development and psychological principles
  • Ability to follow standardized testing procedures
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and HIPAA-compliant documentation
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Compassionate and professional communication with children and families
  • Dependable, adaptable, collaborative, and receptive to feedback
  • Experience with or the ability to learn assessments such as: CARS, GARS, WISC-V, ADOS-2, WPPSI-IV, WIAT-III, BASC-3, Vineland-3, DP-4, CBCL

Responsibilities

  • Administer psychological, developmental, educational, behavioral, and neuropsychological assessments in English and Spanish
  • Score and organize testing protocols accurately
  • Document behavioral and clinical observations
  • Support intake and evaluation procedures
  • Maintain assessment materials, test kits, and equipment
  • Collaborate with psychologists and interdisciplinary team members
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, ethical, and organizational standards
  • Complete documentation within required timelines
