About The Position

Neurobehavioral Center for Growth is seeking a full-time psychometrist to assist with psychological and neuropsychological testing of children and individuals across the lifespan. The role works under the direction of licensed psychologists and neuropsychologists across several offices from South Ogden to Salt Lake City. After training, the position will be primarily based in the Bountiful office, with potential hours in West Jordan or Salt Lake City if desired. The role may offer growth opportunities and is suitable for someone with an undergraduate degree in psychology seeking firsthand experience in the field. The position is 30 or more hours per week, typically four or five days a week, Monday through Friday, approximately 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Hourly pay is based on experience. Full-time employees working more than 30 hours per week may access the benefits package after an eligibility and probationary period.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in psychology or another relevant major, such as neuroscience.
Ability to work four or five days a week, Monday through Friday, approximately 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., for 30 or more hours per week.

Responsibilities

Administer and score neuropsychological, psychological, personality, and academic assessments for clients of all ages and abilities.
Prepare materials, protocols, and stimuli for assessments, including entering client information to determine start points and norms for data collection.
Administer and score assessments professionally and ethically, following specific directions.
Scan and upload assessment results to client files for psychologist interpretation.
Enter numerical assessment data into clients’ pending reports.
Build rapport with clients, support their comfort, and attend to their needs during testing sessions.
