The Munroe-Meyer Institute (MMI) for Genetics and Rehabilitation at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha is seeking a faculty position in the Department of Psychology. The role involves clinical activities focused on behavioral health assessment, diagnostic, and treatment services for neurotypical individuals (especially children, adolescents, and families) and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the lifespan. Referrals are received from schools, physicians, and community agencies. Faculty can choose to focus their clinical services, training, and research in outpatient BH clinics at MMI, integrated primary care sites, or school-based mental health clinics. The department is a collaborative, interdisciplinary setting with a strong internship program and a growing postdoctoral fellowship program. While grounded in a behavioral orientation, diverse theoretical perspectives are welcomed. Some faculty also teach in the Applied Behavior Analysis master's program. Faculty are encouraged to pursue clinical research aligned with the department's mission.
