The Munroe-Meyer Institute (MMI) for Genetics and Rehabilitation at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) is seeking a multilingual faculty member for the Department of Psychology. The role involves delivering behavioral health assessment, diagnostic, and treatment services for neurotypical individuals (especially children, adolescents, and families) and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the lifespan. Referrals are received from various regional sources. Faculty can specialize in outpatient clinics at MMI, integrated primary care sites, or school-based mental health clinics. A key requirement for all duties is being multilingual. The department is known for its collegial environment, integrating training and research with clinical service delivery in an interdisciplinary setting. They offer supervision for an APA-accredited internship program and a postdoctoral fellowship program. While grounded in a behavioral orientation, diverse theoretical perspectives are welcomed. Some faculty also teach in the Applied Behavior Analysis master's program. Faculty are encouraged to pursue clinical research aligned with the department's mission.
