About The Position
Research assistants assist individual faculty members and/or their teams with various research projects. Duties may involve any or all stages of the research process, from literature reviews and study conceptualization through methodology development, IRB submission, data collection and management, data analysis, and presenting and publishing results. The role also performs additional job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be a Psychology major or minor.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, research-related technology such as survey and data analysis software.
- Ability to work well within a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist faculty members and/or their teams with research projects.
- Conduct literature reviews.
- Contribute to study conceptualization and methodology development.
- Assist with IRB submissions.
- Collect, manage, and analyze data.
- Help present and publish research results.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
